On behalf of the organizing committee of the 9th Brazilian Conference on Natural Products (BCNP) and XXXV Meeting on Micromolecular Evolution, Systematics, and Ecology (RESEM), it is our pleasure to invite you to participate in these meetings, which will be held in person, from the 24 – 27 October 2023 at Salvador Conventions Center.
Deleted:The events are supported by the Division of Natural Products of the Brazilian Chemical Society (SBQ). The program comprises plenary and short lectures, interactive sessions, round table discussions, and oral presentations, which will be chosen from contributed papers, besides poster sessions.
The 9th BCNP and XXXV RESEM are nonprofit events dedicated to promoting the development of science and the excellence of Natural Products Chemistry worldwide. The maiden edition of RESEM was held in São Paulo in 1978. From 2007, the two events, BCNP and RESEM, occur simultaneously and will be referred to in the sequence as BCNP/RESEM in their respective versions.
In 2023, for the first time, BCNP/RESEM will take place simultaneously with BrazMedChem, the most important scientific event in the Medicinal Chemistry area. The organizing committees are working together and are composed of members of the Institute of Chemistry and the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA).
We believe this is a good opportunity to discuss the subjects related to different aspects of the work on natural products, so it would be very interesting if you could join us at these events.
